Scott Memorial Skeleton Clock.
Measuring 1ft 7ins high excluding glass dome,1ft 1in wide,this elegant clock represents the memorial to the revered poet Sir Walter Scott in Edinborough.
Single chain fusee,six spoke wheels,all original including the correct lead cylinder pendulum and white marble base.
Made by Evans of Handsworth,Birmingham,England in c1870,this clock and it's maker are well documented and respected,and represent an interesting slice of Anglo-Scottish history.
